DeLasheà Strawder serves as Executive and Artistic Director of Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, where she also leads as the primary music teaching artist for the teen ensemble. As an alumna of the program herself, she brings an intimate understanding of the transformative power of youth voice and leadership. Her approach is deeply collaborative—she regularly consults program participants in critical organizational decisions including program design, evaluation, marketing, resource development, and power-sharing initiatives, embodying her commitment to youth-centered leadership and authentic community building.
